Tiny Tasks · Effective 19 October 2026

Tiny Tasks ("the app") is a task app for teams, built and run by an independent developer ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app collects, why, who can see it and how to delete it. If you have questions, email dharanigowthamsampath@gmail.com.

What we collect

DataWhy
Your name and email address To create your account, sign you in and show teammates who you are.
Your password To sign you in. It is stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider. We never see it.
Teams you create or join (name, colour, invite code, members, roles) To run your team workspaces.
Tasks (title, description, status, priority, due date, who created it and who it's assigned to, timestamps) This is the app's core function.
Technical request data (such as IP address and time of request), kept in our hosting provider's server logs To keep the service secure and working.

On your device, the app also remembers which team you last opened. That stays on your phone.

We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not collect your location, contacts, photos or device identifiers, and we do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

Who can see your data

If you share a team's invite code using your phone's share sheet, you choose the app and the people it goes to.

Security

All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS). Database access rules ensure that each signed-in user can read only their own teams.

How long we keep data

We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, it is removed from our live database straight away. Copies in our hosting provider's backups and logs expire on their normal schedule, normally within 30 days.

Deleting your account

In the app, tap your avatar, then Delete account. You can also email us. See how to delete your account for details of what is removed and what stays with your teams.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing dharanigowthamsampath@gmail.com. We will reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example under India's DPDP Act or the EU/UK GDPR), you may have further rights, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Children

The app is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and its effective date. If the changes are significant, we will also tell you in the app.
